Menz&Gasser’s partnership with Trento Science Museum keeps moving forward. This year, we are supporting a project that has been a great success ever since it began in 2015: Orti del MUSE.
This 2,000+ sqm vegetable garden, orchard and vineyard presents a cross-section of agricultural biodiversity from the local area and beyond for visitors to enjoy and admire. The huge array of specimens shows the vast spectrum of plant life and how it has evolved.
In addition to the displays, a series of workshops and guided tours engage audiences of all ages and backgrounds on a journey to discover the fruit and vegetable world, with all its many varieties, aromas and flavours, and the cultivation techniques involved.
The event has a different theme each year: in 2016, legumes took centre stage; in 2017, it was the multifarious market-garden output from all over Italy; and 2018 was a riot of colourful hot chillis.
