Our story

The story of a third-generation Italian company

1935

The beginning

Mathias Gasser and Hans Menz take over a jam factory and establish Menz&Gasser in Lana, province of Bolzano, South Tyrol

1948

A change

Menz&Gasser is no longer a simple partnership but becomes a joint stock company.

1974

The move
to Novaledo

Production is moved to a purpose-built site in Novaledo, province of Trento

1980

A boom in single portions

The company doubles its production for hotels and the service sector.

1990

Our debut in the yogurt market

Menz&Gasser becomes a supplier for the main European yogurt and dairy producers.

2004

The company expands

We take over a second production site in Verona.

2006

OPENING OF THE NEW NOVALEDO SITE

Menz&Gasser expands.

2016
