A family business, since 1935.

Our family-owned, family-run company was founded in Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol 90 years ago. Over the years, we have combined tradition and innovation to offer high-quality jams, preserves, and semi-finished fruit and vegetable products that we proudly deliver to over 60 countries worldwide. We work every day to meet the needs of the retail, food service, pastry/bakery, and B2B markets with solutions that are not only delicious, but reliable and flexible as well.

Our story

The story of a third-generation Italian company

It all begins Matthias Gasser acquires a jam factory and gives it a new life. Menz&Gasser is founded, specializing in apple compotes. 1935 Expansion The product range grows. In addition to compotes, the company begins producing juices, syrups, and jams. 1939 A new home More space is needed for new production lines. Menz&Gasser moves to Novaledo, outside Trento. 1974 Single-serve boom Production grows tenfold as the company targets hotels and the service sector. 1980 A new Novaledo plant Menz&Gasser expands its facilities and continues to grow. 2006 From Trentino to Malaysia Menz&Gasser Asia is established and the company begins developing on the Asian market. 2016 Entry into the savory segment Menz&Gasser acquires the Sanguinetto plant, adding savory products to its range. 2020 Circular economy Menz&Gasser takes part in innovative agrivoltaic projects. 2025
