Our

history

Menz & Gasser was founded in Lana near Bolzano in 1935 and soon came to specialize in high-quality jams and semi-processed fruit products. Menz & Gasser has seen many changes in over 80 years. But our founder, Mathias Gasser, has always kept us on the path to success through the decades, through his vision of listening to people, understanding and anticipating what they want, and devising innovative, quality products and services to satisfy them.

And we continually refresh our product portfolio today, in a constant quest for tailor-made solutions for our customers’ needs, spanning single portions for hotels and the tertiary sector, semi-processed products for the food industry, and turnkey solutions for the private-label market, from recipe development through to packaging.

Menz & Gasser’s taste for innovation and customer service has also enabled us to make swift inroads into overseas markets. We now operate in over 50 countries on 4 continents, and construction began in 2016 on a facility in Malaysia to expand our presence in the far east.

Production moves to the newly built factory in Novaledo (near Trento)
